Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19/07/2026

‍Steadfast Creative ("I", "me", "my") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect through steadfastcreative.co.uk, how I use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Who I am

‍Steadfast Creative is operated by Neo Rees, a sole trader based in the UK. For any privacy queries, contact: leo@steadfastcreative.co.uk

What information I collect

‍I collect information you provide directly, such as:

  • Your name and email address, when you contact me via a form, email, or booking a call

  • Any details you choose to share about your organisation or enquiry

  • Your email address, if you subscribe to my LinkedIn newsletter (note: this is managed by LinkedIn under their own privacy policy, not mine)

I also collect limited technical information automatically via website analytics and cookies (see Cookie Notice below), such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on the site

  • General location (country/region) and device/browser type

  • How you arrived at the site (e.g. search engine, LinkedIn)

‍I do not collect sensitive personal data, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How I use your information

‍I use the information I collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and arrange discovery calls

  • Deliver any services you engage me for

  • Understand how visitors use the site, so I can improve it

  • Meet legal and accounting obligations (e.g. invoicing, tax records)

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for purposes beyond those listed above without asking you first.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, I rely on the following bases:

  • Consent - for optional cookies and newsletter sign-up

  • Legitimate interest - for responding to enquiries and improving the website

  • Contract - where I'm delivering a service you've engaged me for

  • Legal obligation - for financial and tax record-keeping

Who I share information with

I use a small number of trusted third-party services to run this business, which may process your data on my behalf:

  • Squarespace - website hosting and forms

  • QuickBooks - accounting

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. I don't share your data with anyone else unless required by law.

How long I keep your information

I keep enquiry and client data only as long as necessary - typically for the duration of any engagement plus a period afterwards for tax and accounting purposes (usually 6 years, per HMRC requirements). Website analytics data is retained according to the relevant tool's default settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you

  • Ask me to correct or delete it

  • Object to or restrict how I use it

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from communications)

To exercise any of these rights, contact me at hello@steadfastcreative.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you have concerns about how your data is handled.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version.

Cookie Notice

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly and give me insight into how it's used.

Cookies I use

Essential cookies - required for the site to work (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences, enabling secure browsing). These can't be switched off.

Analytics cookies - help me understand how visitors use the site (e.g. which pages are popular, how people navigate). These are only set with your consent and are typically provided via Squarespace's built-in analytics.

Third-party cookies - if you interact with embedded content (e.g. a LinkedIn follow button or embedded video), that platform may set its own cookies, governed by their privacy policy, not mine.

Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner when you first visit the site, and change your preferences at any time through your browser settings. Declining cookies won't affect your ability to browse the site or contact me.
